Lake house, Memorial Day Weekend

Dick drives Luke around in his golf cart. All the joys of being at Grandma and Grandpa's lake house.

Grandpa takes Myah out on the 4-wheeler...she just can't get enough of the rides!

Daddy and Myah look out on the lake....what a beautiful view!

Myah looks on as Jeff and Barb jet ski....she didn't want anything to do with going along with them. I can't say I was upset!

Grandpa, Uncle Bob, Daddy and Myah enjoy the lake view, each other's company and some fishing tales...hope the fish are biting!

Myah and Daddy wait for Luke and Jeff to come back on the jet ski. Myah hates this life jacket and just wants to get it off.

Luke and Jeff arriving on the Jet ski.

Noah doing his Cub Scout salute as he watches for Jeff and Luke. He cannot wait for his turn on the jet ski.

Luke watches as Noah leaves with Jeff on the jet ski. He said he had such a great time. Saw lots of things out there on Leech Lake.

Jeff, Barb and Noah on the jet skis. It is amazing to me that they can ride on these things and not get wet. It is a good thing they didn't get wet though, the water was very cold!

Jeff and Noah...Noah loves riding on the jet ski. Jeff can't go fast enough for him!

Myah enjoyed her first s'more of the year....it was really tasty!

Grandpa brings the kids out on another 4-wheeler ride, only this time Myah fell asleep. Not sure how she can do that, but she did!

Joan and Myah. Myah is looking for Blue the cat, but unfortunately Blue does not like kids and always runs to hide when he sees her coming!

The boys show off their Lego flags...very patriotic!

One day we spent quite a bit of time looking for Myah, we couldn't find her anywhere. Then, all of a sudden we heard a little giggle and looked on the back of the 4-wheeler, here is how she hung off the back of the 4-wheeler. I was running down to the lake to look for her when Jeff found her. What a stinker!

Grandpa takes the kids on a ride on the 4-wheeler. Myah just can't get enough and begs for a ride every time we are outside. What lucky kids we have to be able to enjoy all these wonderful things!

The harbor and front of the town homes that we love so much and call the lake house. It is such a beautiful place to go!

t-ball spring time

Myah lines up all of her babies...what a little mommy!

Luke runs the bases for his team the Forest Lake Rangers...it was a preschool/Kindergarten league and no score was kept. They didn't have outs and they got to swing at the team as many times as need be. So much fun to watch!
The helmets were so big I don't think that Luke could see to run or hit, but he had a great time!

Myah and Daddy. Myah's favorite time at the game was time at the playground...daddy was a softie and always took her!

Hit it Luke!

Aiming the ball to the sweet spot, or just trying to get a hit!

Running home...when the last batter hit he got to run all the bases, otherwise you only got to run one base on your turn! Fun times!!

Noah's Cubscouts crossover from a Wolf to a Bear.

Noah as a Bear Scout..isn't he cute??

This was the ceremony where Noah went from being a Wolf Scout to being a Bear Scout. We were very fortunate to have grandma Helen along as daddy had to be away on business.

Noah read the scout pledge at the beginning of the meeting. He took his job very seriously.

All business.

This was as Noah walked across the bridge from being a Bear to being a Wolf. The Scout Master Kristine and her husband are there as is his Den leader Tonia McGrew.

Hand shakes for completing another year.

Noah's Den with their leader Tonia.

Kristine and Noah after Noah got his face painted for the different scouting values.

The boys are so excited when it is over...now they are big Bear Scouts!

Noah's baseball game.

Noah has a powerful swing. He love playing baseball and I really enjoy watching!

He is coached my Matt Steffens and is getting so much better! Look at that swing!

Now that ball is going somewhere!!

Waiting for the right pitch from Coach Matt. The kids got 6 pitches to hit. It was coach pitch and if they didn't get a hit in those 6 pitches they were out. This was Noah's first year without a T...he did a great job!!

Fun with Myah's friend AJ

We were fortunate to watch Myah's friend AJ (2) one Saturday afternoon and took the opportunity to go to the park for a picnic lunch and a little play before the evening sun set.
Myah loves AJ and AJ loves Myah. They liked sitting next to each other in the stroller. AJ's mommy says he won't ride in a stroller, I guess she needs Myah to ride along! They loved holding hands and talking the whole way to the park.

Off they go hand in hand to play at the park.

The walked to whole way to the playground holding hands...do you think it will last?

Aren't they just adorable??? I can't stand it!!!

Myah and AJ swing. It was fun trying to keep them both swinging and take a picture!

Myah waves hello from the top of a slide. She is growing so fast! My baby is almost 2!
She is so darn cute and loves to swing....more, more is what she always says!

AJ and Myah slide together. AJ is turning 2 later this month...they are truly the best of friends. They play so well together, we often find them at each other's houses off in a corner playing together. When Myah tells AJ to do something he follows directions very well...she likes that a lot!
Hello, this is Myah...is anyone home??

Myah and AJ share a juice box on the ride home from the park.

What a load to push, so glad I don't have twins!

Myah always takes time to smell the flowers.

Myah gives AJ a hug good night.

Myah almost had a sleep over with her friend, but he had to go home with his mommy and daddy. Don't they both look so cute in their jammies??
